How Miaad come to life ?
Just like any success, the birth of Miaad was driven by a multitude of desires, the first of which was simply finding the right context for playing one’s instrument. That desire soon shifted into an objective, wich is Trying to play something with friends. So basically, the first members of miaad were also a gang of friends and acquaintances. They were all unified by the keenness on music.
The little Miaad :
It all started in December 2019. It had to be more than the simple desire to play. The group was made and coming to the name story.
Why Miaad ?
The concept of the name was inspired early by a project, One of the Miaadist was involved in . That project was focused on the Palestinian case. Then Hamza ( the band’s first singer ) and all the Miaadists walked in this project and that was a kind of commemoration of the project that carries the Palestinian spirit within it. Therefore, the band took the same name as the project.
So basically the name was inspired from an other project. All meet together and start working about a new version of art.
The cohesion of the band members is what makes the success:
the paramount condition that fuelled Miaad’s success was the strong belief and determination in all they did. They were a group of ambitious, dreamy generation full of life. They have a strong friendship, sharing one dream, which is the dream of bringing joy and making the world colorful. otherwise a backbone member of miaad band is the artist Nazih Ben Abdallah. He wasn’t just a guitarist. He was a composer, a singer, and reliable animator. Most of the songs they performed were arranged and smoothly linked.
In their beginnings, each member of the band held the group’s hand and led them forward towards the dream. In spite of the obstacles and continuous difficulties, they were clinging to reach the shore of success. And among the problems, Zak ( the prime manager of the band ) mentioned to us that the infrastructure in the state in Kasserine and the almost lack of spaces where to perform,
Basically, the main challenge, and maybe still, is the limited opportunities for performing in Kasserine. they were not given enough chances to perform and show their skills there.

He said that despite their efforts and attempts to change and their performances in the streets at times, the city of Kasserine remained lacking in some recreational and cultural facilities.
What they sing ?
The first concert was private and it was performed in front of specific audience. Eversince, successes have unfolded and as the mission grew more important, Miaad added members, improvement arrangements and compositions. Then their first song “ hrayer “ come to life. The song that was dedicated to the spirit of the country’s toiling women in the truck accident in Sabala. It was a mixture between pain, injustice, and art, to bring us out in an artistic suit that shrouded in the cold of winter, and escaped us from a bitter reality to a new world of dreams, sending us a glimmer of hope for a better future.

After the band’s affiliation with motivating songs that aim to educate young people and install values in their souls, except for the Palestinian cause or the problems of the Tunisian state. The band was invited on January 14th, 2020, by the Minister of culture to play for the public in Habib Bourguiba Avenue As a symbol of youth, revolution and belonging .
And in their answer to a question if the band sings for art or sings for official work… their answer was that “It’s a mission rather than a job. There s a big confusion between art and profession. It has become an official band with a certain impact. If you take miâd as a job, you’d kill our innovative passion for creating more music. The moment music turns into a profession, it dies. “
Therefore, I think that the band’s insistence on art for the sake of art is what makes them different and makes them shine bright in the dark sky today.
